Fire Risk Assessment London ("we", "us", "our") provides fire risk assessments and related fire safety services to properties across London. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
You can contact us about anything in this policy by email at contact@fireassessmentrisklondon.co.uk or by phone on 01748220381.
We collect the following categories of information:
This website uses a third-party lead and call tracking service. It records the web address you visited, the website or search that referred you, and campaign parameters in the link you followed. Where call tracking numbers are in use, the telephone number shown to you may change depending on how you reached the site, so that we can understand which marketing activity generated your enquiry.
This helps us measure which of our marketing is effective. It is not used to build a profile of you for advertising by unrelated third parties.
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and providing a quote | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract |
| Carrying out an assessment or installation you have booked | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping records of assessments and advice given | Legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in maintaining defensible records |
| Understanding which marketing generates enquiries | Our legitimate interest in running the business efficiently |
| Sending you service updates or reassessment reminders | Legitimate interest, or your consent where required |
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to completed assessments and installations are kept for at least six years, reflecting the period during which a claim could be brought and the need to evidence the advice given at the time.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to: give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correct information that is inaccurate; delete information where there is no continuing reason for us to hold it; restrict or object to how we use it; and receive certain information in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@fireassessmentrisklondon.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Our lead and call tracking service stores identifiers in your browser so that an enquiry can be matched to the visit that produced it. You can clear or block these through your browser settings; the enquiry forms will still work.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
